Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #286. Thanks for stopping by for this week's edition of the PENL. Hope you are doing great and enjoying these first days of Autumn 2024. Where has this year gone so quickly? Just think, in the next 100 days we will pass through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the 2024 Presidential election. That's a load, is it not?
This edition is short because it's vacation week. I thought about taking the week off but after 285 straight PENL's, I didn't want to cop out and not provide something to the readers. Just understand this one is shorter. We are currently at North Myrtle Beach with family and leave tomorrow headed to Western, NC, to Prepper Camp in Saluda, weather pending. Interesting observation during our time here at North Myrtle Beach. My brother in law is wearing a Trump hat and he has received 100% positive comments by folks approaching him and commenting on their support to Trump. I was teasing him and reminded him if it was the same circumstance in the north it would likely be different.
It may be different at your location, but I have noticed what appears to be minimal political signs in yards and communities. I see a few local signs but few for the national level. I have also noticed things seem much more digitalized this election. Text messages, internet, emails, but little to no phone or robo calls at this point. Maybe it is just me, but something seems different. I felt the same way during the 2016 and 2020 elections also. I realize percentage points translates to hundreds of thousands of votes. At this point it appears the undecided window is very small.
HFS has talked about the importance of the global and American farmers and the dire situation many are facing. Between natural disasters, local and federal politicians attacking their ability grow food, and the pricing of resources to grow farms. Based on the some recent headlines showing under the current administration the cost of living has increased 21% and if re elected, Harris plans to put a 24% price increase on farming families. I'm from WV but I can still add the numbers to get 45% cost increase. How do we honestly expect farmers to survive and provide the essentials to staying alive? This is just another reason why it is so important for everyone to figure out a way to grow, grow, grow, whatever you can. The desired outcome is fairly simple when you understand the big picture. Government control of everything vs your freedom to choose for yourself.

Dr Amanda Cartwright and Sara Hathaway will be bringing their skills to the classroom along with Mr. Chin Gibson. Check them out if you attend. I know several HFS Patriots will be attending all or one day of the event. As of now, I plan to attend on all three days.

Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.
Thoughts for the week -
The question of the week has been "Do I think we will face a civil war." I will simply say I wouldn't take anything off the table at this point. We face so much instability and visible fractures in our government infrastructure are apparent. The question is how will citizens respond once the November Presidential election results are made public knowledge.
The words civil and war are spoken so freely from our elected officials that the weight and fear have decreased greatly. Say it enough and no one remembers it. Each and every citizen who could be impacted by a civil war in America should have to sign a document stating they understand what a civil war would mean. It's not a video game or something we used to watch on National Geographic years ago. Death is ugly. Burning corpses and rotting bloated bodies will wake you up for the rest of your life.
I hear lots of tough guys talking about shooting and killing until they are taken down. "I'm going to run out the door guns blazing and take down as many as possible." Really? And your plan means you are going to likely fail you, and leave your wife and family unprotected for the gunman or gang to do with your loved ones as desired. Sound like a wise plan? Hear me clearly, brains are more important than firepower. If you are in close range of a firearm threat and can possibly do so, you want to extract away from the threat as quickly as possible. Yea I know, a few are shouting. I would bet the shouters are excellent at x-box video shooting games. No offense, I'm just saying in the real world, you want to avoid confrontation as much as possible.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. We pray for good health and wisdom. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots.
Our HFS family has many prayers needs for health and moral. We love you all and continue praying for each of you.
May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation.
As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community, and nation need us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on faith and hope. Remember we are a blessed nation, and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.
